About Finsbury Designs Limited
Teamwork comes naturally to Ben Whetstone, he started out playing rugby for Bedford and London Irish. He now deploys his skills in order to create excellent client relationships, a positive and productive working environment, and a successful outcome on every development or refurbishment project.
Ben founded Finsbury Designs Ltd in 2002. His focus at that time was single plot development. The strategy employed from the start was to maintain control over every aspect of the process: purchasing land, obtaining planning permission, building out and selling. Early successes enabled the company to steadily expand and obtain planning permission to develop larger sites.
HIGH QUALITY BESPOKE PRODUCT ATTRACTS NEW CLIENTS
As the company’s reputation grew, so did the opportunity for expanding the range of services on offer. It was soon clear that there was a market for refurbishing and building for clients, whilst continuing with the original work of the company. Projects carried out by Finsbury Designs for clients include residential new builds, renovations, conversions and extensions as well as commercial new builds and renovations.
Over the past two decades the Finsbury Designs team has worked in conservation areas and on a number of listed properties. As a result they have become adept at negotiating with conservation and planning officers. Ben is always on the look out for land to purchase, or the opportunity to enter into an option/promotion agreement with a landowner to obtain planning permission.
